The young girl Mac Siou Tsong Sherina flew through the proceedings yesterday in Havoana Land, during the young female pilot detection day, which was organized by Mahary Rabary. They were 16 young girls aged between 12 and 16 years old in search of the Kart 117 belonging to this double Madagascar karting champion. The aim of this competition is to offer opportunities to women in the world of motor sports, especially karting, where there are still few of them today. Indeed, Sherina stood out from the Chrono test until the last race. She was always in the top three. Sherina was in pole position at the start of the first heat but she was overtaken by Diary at the finish, after completing 11 laps of the track. Alexia completed the podium. The race intensified during the pre-final, an opportunity for Sherina to take back the lead. The final was the most contested during this detection. All participants showed their skills. It was only at the last minute that Sherina emerged champion. She completed 12 laps, followed by Diary Fitia who also completed 12 laps. Alexia finished third. As Mahary Rabary promised, he will give his Kart 117 to Sherina, the big winner. She will have the privilege of piloting it for a full season, with almost complete support in terms of preparations and logistics: spare parts, assistance, annual license from the FSAM and training tires. So Sherina will only worry about fuel. But before starting the season, Sherina will still be assisted by Mahary Rabary, while David Rabary, younger brother of Mahary, the FMMSAM club and the Women in Motorsport (WIMs), will supervise her throughout the season.
