The jawan who slapped Kangana was actually a resident of Kapurthala in Punjab. He said that he slapped Kangana Ranaut for attacking the farmers’ movement as ‘Khalistani’. Kuldeep was fired from his job soon after the incident.

Why did Kulwinder Kaur do such a thing? When asked, her candid response, ‘Kangana said that the farmers are sitting there for 100 rupees. Did he go and sit there? When Kangana was making such insults about the farmers’ movement, my mother was involved in the protest.”
Her brother Sher Singh Mohibal also opened his mouth in support of his sister. He commented, ‘I came to know that the incident happened while checking Kangana’s purse. He said, the protesting women of Punjab have been sold for 100 rupees. My sister may have slapped me because she could not keep a cool head in the middle of the argument.’
Kangana Ranaut has made several offensive tweets opposing the farmers’ movement in Delhi, which lasted for a month in the streets of Delhi in 2019. The protesting farmers were sometimes called ‘Khalistani’, sometimes ‘terrorist’. Even when Narendra Modi announced the withdrawal of three controversial agriculture bills, Bollywood actress Kangana attacked farmers as ‘Jihadists’.
Because of this, a section of the Sikh community was very angry against Kangana. Due to this, an FIR was filed against the actress. Not only that, Kangana also had to face farmers’ protests in Punjab.
