Juicy Pan Fried Pork Chops with Honey Garlic Herb Butter

Material
4 thick cut boneless pork chops
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
2 teaspoons sea salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 tbsp oil
Garlic Honey Herb Butter
4 tablespoons salted butter, at room temperature
1 tbsp honey
1 tablespoon minced parsley
2 cloves garlic, grated on a microplane or very finely grated
Method
* Heat a medium-sized cast iron pan over medium-high heat. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels and then season them on both sides with Italian seasoning, sea salt, and pepper.
* Drizzle half the oil on one side of the pork chops and use your fingers to spread it around.
* Place the pork chops on a hot pan, oiled side down. Fry the chops for 4-5 minutes or until a golden crust forms.
* Rub the remaining oil on the tops of the pork chops and then turn them over. Fry them for another 3-4 minutes, then remove them from the pan and leave them for 10 minutes.
* While they are resting, mix the softened butter with the honey, garlic and parsley. When you’re ready to eat, drizzle a little butter over each pork chop before serving.
