Juan Osorio Addresses Controversy Surrounding Niurka and José Manuel Figueroa
In a recent press conference, soap opera producer Juan Osorio addressed the controversy surrounding Niurka and José Manuel Figueroa. The Cuban star had expressed her fury after Figueroa questioned the paternity of Emilio, suggesting that Bobby Larios might be his father.
Osorio remained calm and incredulous during the meeting with the press on June 16. He claimed to be unaware of the situation and emphasized his strong friendship with Joan Sebastian’s son.
“I have a great friendship with José Manuel Figueroa. I was a good friend of his father, and I have no interest in commenting on or knowing what he said,” Osorio replied to journalist Edén Dorantes.
Upon learning about Figueroa’s remarks, Osorio expressed his ignorance regarding the paternity issue. Reporters informed him that Niurka has repeatedly denied the claims made by Larios. Despite the explosive reaction from the Cuban star, Figueroa later apologized to her, Emilio, and Osorio.
Osorio responded positively to the apology, stating, “José Manuel has always been an intelligent and mature artist. I would never expect a negative comment from him towards me. If he did say it, he must not have been thinking clearly.”
Osorio emphasized that his friendship with Figueroa remains strong and will not be affected by this incident. He believes that true friendship is based on the bond in one’s heart, and he considers Figueroa to be his friend.
Niurka’s Explosive Reaction to José Manuel Figueroa’s Comment
Niurka Marcos, known for her outspoken nature, responded to Figueroa’s comment through an Instagram post. She sarcastically stated that her son, Emilio, knows who his father is because he was already born when she met Bobby Larios on the set of ‘Bridal Veil’.
Marcos also criticized Figueroa’s relationship with Marie Claire Harp, calling her brainless and implying that Figueroa lacks intelligence as well.
José Manuel Figueroa Offers Apology
Following Niurka’s reaction, Figueroa took to Instagram to apologize not only to her but also to Juan Osorio and Emilio. He expressed regret for his ignorance and emphasized that he did not intend to cause any misunderstandings.
Figueroa requested the deletion of the video where he made the controversial comment and extended his apologies in front of the cameras. He acknowledged his mistake and expressed his desire to rectify the situation.
