John Legend’s Son Has Diabetes, Resigns His 6-Year-Old Son to Insulin Injections

JAKARTA – The son of musician couple John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, Mile, was diagnosed with the disease diabetes type 1. Chrissy revealed this through a post on her Instagram account.

In her upload, the 38 year old artist and model revealed how her 6 year old son first got infected. diabetes type 1.

Initially, netizens highlighted one of the photos Chrissy shared last week. To be precise, when she, John Legend, and two of their four children were in Paris for the Olympics.

Netizens then misled the focus on the appearance of Miles’ arm with a glucose/diabetes monitoring monitor.

In her latest post, Chrissy immediately appreciated netizens’ attention to her child’s condition.

“So many of you reached out to me, and said the most beautiful and amazing words I’ve ever seen on this platform. You saw (Miles’) type-1 diabetes monitor and gave so much love and support in so many different ways,” Chrissy said, in her Instagram post @chrissyteigen, Thursday (1/8/2024).

Chrissy said that before being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes last week, Miles experienced symptoms of an intestinal infection after camping with his friends.

However, after being examined and doing blood tests, the doctor said that Miles had other health problems. From there he realized that his son had type 1 diabetes.

“After more testing, we learned that he was in the ‘honeymoon phase’ of a lifetime with T1,” Chrissy said.
