A consensus was expressed that framework mechanisms such as the Azerbaijan-Turkey High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council, political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, and the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation play an important role in ensuring the sustainable, stable and long-term development of our relations.
Against the background of the current geopolitical realities, the importance of the Middle Corridor in cargo transportation between East and West was discussed.
Azerbaijan-Turkey alliance relations are manifested in multilateral platforms such as the UN, the Organization of Economic Cooperation, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Organization of Turkic States, and the importance of continuing and strengthening coordinated activities and mutual support between our brother countries was emphasized.
The other party was informed about the current state of the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process, the latest developments, including the results obtained within the framework of the Azerbaijan-Armenia state commission on the delimitation of the state border.
Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed during the meeting.
