Jerónimo Ángulo’s stepfather will be transferred to Bogotá prison

The country is shaken by the tragic outcome of a case that has moved all of Colombia in recent days, it is the death of Jerónimo Angulo, a three-year-old boy whose disappearance was reported on Tuesday, March 5 in the renowned municipality of Cundinamarca, and that days later he was found dead in strange conditions.

As part of the investigations, the authorities have released a new video that has raised suspicions about the discovery of the minor’s body.

The material in question, currently under scrutiny, shows Giovanny Andrés Díaz, Jerónimo’s stepfather and the last person known to have seen the boy, carrying on his shoulders a canvas with characteristics similar to the bag in which the little boy was found in the El Jordán ravine, located in the La Aguadita sector, in Fusagasugá.

Therefore, the authorities summoned Jerónimo’s stepfather to give a statement to the Attorney General’s Office to clarify the details of the minor’s disappearance. According to reports, lThe disappearance occurred while the boy was playing with other minors near his home.

According to some versions, Díaz would have tried flee on a bus before being intercepted by SIJIN agents, who took him to give a statement to the investigating authorities.
