JCI falls 2.36% for a week, stock exchange market capitalization becomes IDR 11,486 trillion

JAKARTA – Stock trading data in Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) This week in the period 27-31 May 2024 the majority are closed variously. Composite Stock Price Index or IHSG a week fell by 2.36% to its lowest level of 6,734.

“This week’s IHSG experienced a change of 2.36 percent to be at the level of 6,734,832 from 6,897,950 at the close of last week,” wrote BEI Corporate Secretary Kautsar Primadi Nurahmad, Friday (14/6/2024).

In contrast to the JCI, the highest increase this week occurred in the average daily transaction volume of 60.25% to 25.31 billion shares from 15.79 billion shares a week ago.

The average daily share transaction value this week also increased by 1.93%, namely to IDR 10.59 trillion from IDR 10.39 trillion.

Market capitalization During the week, the stock exchange experienced a slight decrease of 0.02%, namely to IDR 11,486 trillion from IDR 11,488 trillion a week ago

The average daily stock frequency during the week also weakened by 2.65% to 902 thousand transactions from 927 thousand transactions a week ago.

The movement of foreign investors on Friday (14/6) recorded a net selling value of IDR 729.87 billion and throughout 2024 foreign investors recorded a net selling value of IDR 8.56 trillion.

On Wednesday (13/6), PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) together with PT Kliring Penjaminan Efek Indonesia (KPEI) and PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI) with the support of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) inaugurated the construction of the Cidarengdeng bridge.
