Jason Momoa had the Rolls-Royce Phantom II rebuilt: The veteran car is an electric car

The Rolls-Royce Phantom II range of cars is considered by some motorists to be possibly the most luxurious car in the world. It currently has 8 generations behind it and the manufacturer claims that it combines good taste, beauty and luxurious sophistication.

Momoa, known as Aquaman or Khal Drogo from the Game of Thrones series, is the owner of a piece of the first generation British automotive gem. Frederick Henry Royce (†70) himself supervised this. And it was the model from 1929 that the actor now had rebuilt by the company Electrogenic. “In order to realize this dream project, I had to find the right partner,” Momoa stated excitedly.

According to Electrogenic director Steve Drummond, it was the most complex rebuild his staff had ever undertaken. It took a total of 18 months. “It’s the perfect way to celebrate the beautiful Phantom II, now ready for the next 100 years of sublime motoring.” Drummond thinks. Motoring fans consider such a thing as sacrilege, but Jason Momoa is more than happy. He brought his Rolls-Royce from the 1920s into the 21st century. And so he lost his veteran status…
