Jana Paulová celebrated her 69th birthday this year, so participating in a demanding dance competition will be a challenge for her. Although the actress looks great for her age and few would guess it, the hours and hours of training can take a toll on a person. Keeping up and succeeding in the competition of much younger competitors may be a difficult task for her. “My dance partner is already incredibly patient, but I’m really looking forward to the whole journey.”

The actress will thus be the oldest female contestant in the history of the show, but the absolute primacy is still held by a man. In 2021, the eleventh series of the competition was attended by the fairy-tale prince, actor and presenter Pavel Trávniček, who was an incredible 71 years old at the time. However, his involvement in the competition did not last long. He was the first to fall out.

But they don’t always have to be old to their disadvantage. The Slovak version of the competition, which is called Let’s Dance, was attended by an actress and at the same time the mother of the Czech actor and musician Ondřej Gregor Brzobohatý. Hana Gregorová proved to everyone that even at the age of 71 she does not need to be afraid of such a competition. She lasted until the fourth round. She didn’t give up and fought to the end!
They celebrate 50 years of marriage!
She will have a golden wedding with her husband, musician and teacher Milan Svoboda, and next year the actress will also celebrate her birthday. “We can celebrate a completely insignificant day and forget about the anniversary. So we’ll see how it goes.” the actress revealed with a laugh, but she says she doesn’t have a recipe for a happy relationship. “There is no general recipe, each person prefers something different in relationships. With us it’s love, mutual respect, we laugh at the same things, we don’t own each other and we just enjoy being together.”
She is a loving grandmother!
“I’m a grandmother in love and I’m excited about her,” said Paulová, who cannot yet say whether she will also follow in the artist’s footsteps. “That I would observe any special artistic inclinations in her, she is still too young for that. It fascinates me how he speaks two languages and how he knows exactly who to talk to and how. Whatever she does one day, it’s important that she enjoys and fulfills it,” she added.
