Jaromír Jágr (52) will not stop in Pittsburgh. First, he recounted memories in the casino, then jumped on the ice with Crosby, and then spent hours with fans at a large autograph session. The most pleasant “obligation” thus became a private dinner with former teammates, led by the legendary Marie Lemieux (58). Of course, the meeting took place without partners, but “Džegro’s” love Dominik (29) was well taken care of.
The highlight of Jágro’s Saturday program was a dinner where the Stanley Cup champions from 1991 and 1992 met. It was put together by the divine Mario Lemieux himself, who helped the Czech legend a lot at the beginning of his career in Pittsburgh.
“Who am I most looking forward to? I’ll be happy to see everyone” said Jagr, who met with, for example, his former partner Ron Francis or coach Scotty Bowman at a strictly secret meeting.
But what did Jágro’s girlfriend Dominika do during the evening? Don’t worry, she didn’t get bored either. Alongside Jessica Šlégrová, Veronika Krbaťová (partner of Jágro’s nephew Jiří Kalla) and director Petr Větrovský, she went to the PPG Paints Arena, where the Pittsburgh Penguins play their home games, for a concert by the Canadian rapper Drake. Our group watched it from the VIP box with a luxurious banquet that would be the envy of even hockey legends at a private dinner.
Because of this show, full of flames and fireworks, the organizers will have to cover the floor with ice in the hall until just before today’s game, which will also include the hanging of Jágro’s jersey. The Czech party even got backstage and thoroughly enjoyed the concert.
What was Dominika doing while Jagr was enjoying the favor of the fans?
