Approximately 12 thousand people attended the schools, which opened their doors to the people of Izmir on June 24 in 25 different sports branches and 17 facilities, for more than 1 month.
Within the scope of summer sports schools, training was provided in athletics, basketball, football, gymnastics, taekwondo, judo, tennis, chess, basic movement training, swimming, water polo, folk dances, dance, special students basketball-swimming, volleyball, table tennis, wrestling, badminton, mind games, karate and futsal branches. Summer sports schools also included pilates, step-aerobics, canoeing, healthy living, conditioning, yoga, swimming and tennis branches for adult trainees.

Izmir residents can attend summer sports school trainings at the Celal Atik Sports Hall in Kültürpark, Konak Pazaryeri Neighborhood Sports Field, Bornova Naim Süleymanoğlu Sports Hall, Bornova Aşık Veysel Recreation Area, Bornova Meriç Yaşayan Park Football Field, Bornova Havuz İzmir, Buca Social Life Campus, Karabağlar Can Çağnay Sports Hall, Karabağlar Peker Neighborhood Football Field, Balçova İzmir Boats Sailing and Canoeing Facility, İzmir Marina, Bayraklı Çiçek Astroturf Field, Bayraklı Ahmet Taner Kışlalı Park, Bostanlı Recreation Area, Beydağ Sports Hall, Bayındır Çırpı Multi-Purpose Sports Hall, Foça Bağarası Sports Hall.
