Ivanka Trump spoke for the first time about her father’s lawsuits: “It’s a painful experience

Ivanka Trump spoke out for the first time about her father Donald Trump’s legal battles. The late mother Ivanka Trump was also mentioned, which brought Ivanka to tears during the podcast. She also revealed why she decided not to participate in her father’s election campaign for this year’s presidential election.

“On a human level, he’s my father and I love him very much, so it’s a painful experience, but ultimately I wish it didn’t have to be that way,” Trump’s daughter said during the interview.

Emotions then engulfed Ivanka when it began to be talked about her mother, who died two years ago. Asked if she misses her, Ivanka said: “Very much. It’s unbelievable how overwhelming losing a parent is.”

“Politics is a rough industry”

“Her mother still lives with me, my grandmother who helped raise us, so that’s very special,” she continued, pausing to she choked back tears. “Can I ask her some questions… I’m sorry. Questions I’ve wanted to ask my mother, but it’s hard.’

“I learned from her how to really enjoy life. She was very brave, had so much confidence and energy, she was perfectly fine with who she was,” Ivanka described her mother. “She was so incredibly charming.”

The podcast host challenged Ivanka to answer why she did not want to join Trump’s presidential campaign. “I’m a parent, I’ve really thought about what my children need from me right now. Politics is a rough industry. I think one has to either do it properly or not at all.” she replied.

She also let herself be heard that there is “too much darkness, too much negativity” in politics and it is the opposite of what is “good for me as a human being.”
