Iva Bittová admitted: Mom is fighting cancer

The last acting role in which she appeared was in the film Nightlight, but many remember her from the film Secrets directed by Alice Nellis. In recent years, he has devoted himself to music – either singing or playing the violin. She found a new home in the solitude of the forest in the state of New York.

But that changed last November when her 90-year-old mother was diagnosed with cancer.

„At first it hit me hard, I lost energy. I thought to myself, what awaits us, how will I manage? But after about three weeks, I saw how mom behaves, how well she tolerates everything, my energy quickly returned, and now I have a special peace of mind. And you know what is the most beautiful to me? She has always been quirky, maybe even hard, but lately she sometimes shows how happy she is that I take care of her – I’m glad I lived to see it,” said Iva Bittová in an interview for the Reporter.

„He manages everything, he is a huge inspiration for me. The tumor is shrinking, her hair is not falling out at all, mom is such a phenomenon. She always had and still has incredible vitality.” added the singer, who has now moved her activities to Moravia.
