The former actress Alisson Lozz, recognized for starring in and participating in some children’s and youth novels such as “Misión SOS”, “Alebrijes y Rebujos”, “Rebelde”, as well as “To the devil with the handsome ones” recently revealed that during her first years of career , while making space in the world of entertainment, faced alleged mistreatment by a famous Mexican television station.
Lozz, who currently works in a catalog makeup company, decided to retire from the artistic field at the age of 16. In a video recently shared on his social media, he reflected on his experience on television and expressed his perception of this field as complicated.
In the clip, which has been shared on the YouTube and TikTok platforms, Alisson began to talk about it because some of her followers questioned her about whether her little daughters know about her past as an artist.
“Sometimes we only see the beautiful, but really a business or a job that does not allow you to have your priorities in order, for me, is something neither questionable nor negotiable. If I cannot have my health, my family and above all my spiritual First of all, for me that business is not feasible,” said Lozz.
Alisson, who started working at age 9, shared that reliving her past is difficult for her. Sometimes, when she attends events at the company where she works, some people insist on knowing details of her private life or taking photos with her, which makes her uncomfortable.
“I left for a reason. It was a very traumatic experience (the artistic medium) and for many years I didn’t speak anything because I couldn’t. I had a contract, but that was already over. Those 10 years were already over,” he said.
He shared that his intention is not to talk about anyone specific and that fame was not something he enjoyed.
“Since I retired I have the life I dreamed of. I no longer owe anything to anyone, I no longer have a boss. On Televisa they told me very often ‘everyone is (not) indispensable’, imagine me being 10, 11 years old , hearing that I was not needed, that they could replace me at any time,” she said regarding the “mistreatment” she experienced.
She also explained that although she worked every day because she got leading roles, she earned little, up to “a fifth or tenth” of what an actress who came up to two or three times a week earned.
“It seemed unfair to me and as a girl I went and (said) why don’t they raise my salary, I support my entire family. It’s not enough for me at all, everything goes to appearances and the income.”
She added that they refused to raise her salary, as well as that when she got sick they simply told her to continue working and that led her to have more serious health complications.
Regarding whether she experienced any type of sexual abuse, she assured that she did not face this situation as has unfortunately happened with other personalities, and although they respected her a little more because she was a minor, sometimes they asked her to go alone to some appointments. but her manager Karina Leija always came in and protected her or asked them that if they had something to say to the actress, she had to be present.
“I suffered a lot of screams, a lot of abuse. The people there were very cruel. The novel that I enjoyed a little more was ‘To hell with the handsome ones’ because the production was a little more noble and the actors saw me as a little sister, but the work days were very hard. It is the only production that I remember that they cared about my well-being.
Allisson commented that it was in children’s novels where he suffered a lot because there was no time for more things, and the contracts were very exclusive.
“‘In the name of love’ I cried every day, it was an impressive abuse, if I felt sick they yelled at me. Many of the production are nice but the reality is that they are on top of them, pressuring them and threatening them that they are going to be fired,” he adds. .
He mentioned that his financial situation never improved and that he lacked time for fun. He was experiencing great pressure to support his family. Furthermore, she shared that her relationship with her father was very distant, while with her mother it was quite sad, compared to her current situation.
“I felt very alone, very abandoned. I felt that my parents, the producers, I didn’t matter to anyone, I didn’t matter to anyone.”
On the other hand, she said that she always thought about having children and a husband and connecting with real life.
