“It has become an international reference in the defense of freedom”

The president of VOX, Santiago Abascal, praised the Argentine president, Javier Milei, this Thursday, highlighting that his leadership has become in world “reference” to defend values such as freedom, property, life and national sovereignty.

«Javier Milei, like very few leaders in the world, has become an international reference and in his case an international reference in the defense of freedom, property, the right to human life and opposition to the 2030 agenda and therefore globalism, placing itself on the side of the interests of national sovereignties and homelands,” Abascal stated.

In the same way, the VOX leader stressed the importance of Milei’s speech at the Davos Economic Forum, where the South American president clarified his position on these issues.

«The way he did it at the Davos Forum, going to the place where it is probably hardest to say and no one does has been viewed with enormous sympathy and hope by many people throughout the world,” he said.

In the interview with the Argentine media Radio Miter Abascal also highlighted the meeting that Milei held this week with the president of the Council of Ministers of Italy, Georgia Meloni, whom he described as one of the “most relevant” figures that Europe has at the moment.

«I am very happy that on that tour I was able to meet another person who is going to have a lot to say in the future of Europe (…) is probably going to be one of the most relevant people for the change of course in the European Union , who is Giorgia Meloni, the president of the Government of Italy,” he stated.

Milei, a signatory of the Madrid Charter promoted by the Disenso Foundation, is an ally of VOX. He recently showed his support for the formation and its militants in the Extraordinary General Assembly that re-elected Santiago Abascal as president. “This is a message for the friends of VOX who are fighting so hard in Spain, and especially for my dearest friend Santiago Abascal, who is renewing for four more years,” he said in a video shown at the event. «Do not lower your arms, to continue fighting it because we are few but good who fight for life, freedom and property. “Keep rowing and, accordingly, long live damn freedom,” he added.

Abascal and Milei share this defense of life, liberty and property, and the fight against socialism and the “lukewarm” people on both sides of the Atlantic. The leader of VOX went to Buenos Aires on December 10 to his inauguration at the invitation of the president himself and celebrated the opening of “a path of future and hope for Argentines and for all of Latin America.”
