Syria’s state news agency SANA reported that Israel launched an attack on a residential building. The news agency reported no casualties. They have published a picture of the multi-storey building.
Witnesses said they heard multiple explosions. A student of a nearby school panicked at the sound of the explosion. Ambulance quickly appeared there.
There was no immediate comment from the Israeli military on the attack.
Iran has been supporting President Bashar al-Assad in Syria’s 12-year civil war. Israel has been carrying out regular attacks on Syrian territory due to the support of Iran and Lebanon’s Hezbollah group to Damascus. Tel Aviv is carrying out these attacks to destroy the Iranian military power in Syria.
