Israel kills more than 100 Hamas terrorists in Gaza

Including chiefs Hossam Mansour and Ayman Showadeh

He Israeli Army announced in the last hours the elimination of More than 100 Hamas fighters in Gazaincluding Hossam Mansour, commander of Hamas’ Internal Security Forces and director of the Al-Khair Foundation, and Ayman Showadeh, deputy commander of the battalion operating in Shejaiya, in the city of Gazaas a result of effective air strikes carried out in the area.

According to the IDF, Mansour was a key operative in the militia’s operations headquarters and had played a major role in directing the October 7 massacre. He had also been actively participating in the battalion’s fighting since that Saturday and had led several attacks against Israeli troops.

Ubadá Abu Hain, one of his comrades in the Battalion, who was also credited with playing an “important role”, and 150 other militiamen died along with him.

As the news broke, Israel announced that it had abandoned the Tal al-Hawa and Rimal neighbourhoods in Gaza City, as there is no longer a terrorist presence there, although it must ensure that they do not regroup there.

“We have eliminated numerous terrorists in close combat and airstrikes, and dismantled terrorist infrastructure in the area”the IDF said. They added that they had also managed to locate a weapons production workshop and a large amount of funds ready to be “used in terrorist activities.”

Tel Aviv, on the other hand, has reported that it has no plans to leave the area in the near future – especially the border area with Egypt – even if Hamas demands it as part of the agreement for a new truce.
