He Israeli Army eliminated a commander of the Lebanese Shiite terrorist group Hezbollahduring an air operation over the south of the country, while several people accompanying him were injured.

According to the Beirut National News Agency, the terrorist killed was Ali Jaafar Maatouqbetter known as Habib Maatouqoriginally from the town of Sir el Gharbiyeh.

Other local media reported that special forces commander Radwan was killed during a bombing of his home in Jmaijmeh, although the report was not verified by Hezbollah, which confirmed his death.

Ambulance crews in the area said there were at least 18 non-fatal victims of these maneuvers, who were transferred to the nearest hospital.

The Israeli army also announced the death of Hassan Ali Mehanna, a Hezbollah militant from the Qana area. “He was an operative in the group’s engineering unit and participated in numerous attacks against the State of Israel,” they added in a statement.

Mehanna died while travelling in her vehicle from the southern town of Jibal al-Both.
