Israel gives final approval for 3,400 settlements in the West Bank – 2024-03-08 19:24:34

Occupying Israel has given final permission to build more than 3,400 new homes in settlements in the occupied West Bank. About 70 percent of the homes will be built in Ma’ale Adumim, east of Jerusalem. The rest are in nearby Kedar and Ephrath, south of Bethlehem. An Israeli minister confirmed this information on condition of anonymity.

The minister said that the construction will be started in response to the Palestinian attack near Male Adumim two weeks ago. Meanwhile, the Palestinian Authority strongly condemned the decision of the Dalakhdar state. On the other hand, most of the international community has been opposed to Israeli settlements in the Palestinian territories. But Israel continues to settle without any objection.
