Israel approves operational plan for Lebanon

The Israeli army announced that it has approved the “operational plan” for a possible attack on Lebanon while the tension with Hezbollah continues.

In the written statement made by the Israeli army, it was reported that the Commander of the Israeli Army Northern Command, Major General Ori Gordin, and the Head of the Operations Department, Major General Oded Basyuk, approved the “operational plan” for a possible attack on Lebanon. TENSION ON THE BLUE LINE

There has been increasing tension in recent weeks on the border line between Israel and Lebanon, called the “Blue Line”.

Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari reported that “Hezbollah in Lebanon has fired more than 5 thousand rockets, anti-tank bullets and UAVs towards Israel since October 7.”

Israel, which has been continuing its attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7, is also fighting with Lebanese Hezbollah on the northern border.
