“It’s unfortunate that we conceded a goal on the counter-attack, that’s their best weapon and we missed it all game. The children did their best. You saw some players get angry in the 60th and 70th minutes, it shows that the guys gave more than they could and I think we deserved more.
We really did our best, prepared and played one of our best games. There are a lot of young players, I think fatigue also plays a role, but these kids have a future. It might be better if they keep it up.
“I don’t know if I will play in the Nations League, I didn’t want to say anything because after a great 85 minutes we were all unexpectedly nervous,” said Dzeko.
