In mid-April, Iran seized a ship associated with Israel with 25 crew members. On Saturday (April 27), the country’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdullahian told Portuguese Foreign Minister Rangel that the ship’s crew would be released.
Iran’s foreign minister said that the ambassadors in Tehran have already been informed about this. However, it is not clear when they will be released.

The Portuguese-flagged ship, operated by Zodiac Maritime, is owned by Israeli real estate, energy, technology and shipping magnate Yal Ofer.
Zodiac Maritime is part of the Israeli billionaire’s Zodiac Group.
On April 13, the ship was seized from the Strait of Hormuz by the naval wing of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. A source said 17 of the 25 crew aboard the ship were Indians.
Tehran announced retaliation after the attack on the Iranian consulate in Syria. Immediately after that, Iran seized the vessel associated with Israel.
