The tax was reduced by an average of 3.37% compared to last year, due to the devaluation of used vehicles. The calendar was officially launched on December 5th.

According to the State Department of Finance (SEFA-MG), the tax amount can be consulted using the vehicle’s Renavam number, on the SEF website or on LigMinas by calling 155, valid throughout the state.
In addition to paying via the Department of Finance website, miners can go to self-service terminals or branches of accredited banks (Bradesco, Sicoob, Mercantil do Brasil, Caixa Econômica Federal, Casas Lotéricas, Mais BB and Santander). There you will have to enter your Renavam number.
IPVA in Minas can also be paid via PIX, the taxpayer simply needs to have an account at any financial institution or digital bank (so-called fintechs). To generate the QR code, interested parties must access www.fazenda.mg.gov.br and, in the IPVA area, choose the option to release the IPVA Guide.
Drivers should pay attention to the expiry date of the annual driving license renewal fee (TRLAV), worth R$39.36. The tax must be paid by 03/31/2024, regardless of the vehicle’s license plate.
Like IPVA, the license can also be paid via PIX, or directly at self-service terminals or collection agent counters, simply by entering the Renavam number.
Taxpayers should be aware of scams on messaging apps, the Internet and social networks. The guideline is that citizens do not click on links, QR Codes, barcodes and more received on mobile phones or emails.
Another important point to note is that, in case of payment via Pix, the beneficiary of the operation will always be the State of Minas Gerais (CNPJ: 18.715615/0001-60) and the institution issuing the QR Code is Banco Itaú S / UN .
