On that occasion, Sandi Uno wore traditional Balinese clothing. Sandiaga had the honor of taking part in the process of making a typical Balinese keris. Sandiaga Uno also hit the heated iron blade using a large hammer.
Then, the procession of making the Balinese Keris was demonstrated at the Semarapura Festival 6 creative economy exhibition in Klungkung Regency.
On this occasion, Sandiaga supported the festival activities held by the Klungkung Regency Government. According to him, the 6th Semarapura Festival is included in the Kharisma Event Nusantara (KEN) category which he launched.
“KEN itself is a collection of quality events from all over the archipelago. Klungkung Regency already has two events that have entered KEN, namely the Nusa Penida Festival and most recently the 6th Semarapura Festival,” he said.
At the opening of the festival, Minister Sandi Uno’s group was greeted by a mass pendet dance involving 400 dancers from PGRI members of Klungkung Regency. This festival activity involved 1,500 artists, 110 craftsmen and 105 MSMEs.
“I invite festival visitors to become rojali, namely the group, so buy instead of rojali, the group just look,” said Sandi Uno.
According to him, this is very supportive for the progress of creative economy activists in improving their businesses.
Semarapura Festival is a tourism and creative economy promotion event in Klungkung Regency. Most tourists to Klungkung only enjoy nature tourism on Nusa Penida Island and Nusa Lembongan Island.
