Team Telecom Armenia becomes Tumo’s main technology partner in Armenia. From now on, the company will provide Internet under special conditions to Tumo centers and boxes operating and opening in Armenia, provided that it becomes free. The corresponding memorandum on cooperation was signed by the General Director of Team Hayk Yesayan and the Director of Tumo Creative Technologies Center Marie Lou Papazyan.
General Director of Team Telecom Armenia, Hayk Yesayan, highlighting the cooperation between the two companies, emphasized that supporting the fields of education and technology is a priority for them.
According to Hayk Yesayan, one of the most important problems today is how to teach children to educate themselves. Thanks to Tumo, thousands of children have that opportunity.
At the moment, 10 Tumo locations – centers and boxes – are provided with high-speed Internet of Team. The process of providing the Internet will be continuous, including all Tumo centers and boxes opened within the framework of the Tumo Armenia project.
It is noteworthy that the memorandum establishes cooperation between the EU-funded Tumo lab project and 42 Yerevan
with the programming school, within the framework of which Team specialists will conduct educational meetings and programs with students involved in these projects.
