The new technological tools and Artificial Intelligence applied in the management of security and emergency policy were addressed at the closing of the Smart City Expo held in Santiago del Estero. Planning and predictive maintenance of applications along with emergency management were part of the dissertation carried out by officials from the Ministry of the Interior of Tucumán.

“We are trying to update the tools with which the monitoring centers in the different municipalities of the interior of the province have been equipped within the framework of the program we are implementing,” explained the head of that portfolio, Dario Monteros, in gratitude to Juan Alonsohead of the Latin American Security Association.

Predictive maintenance understood as the actions taken and techniques applied to detect possible failures and defects of the digital devices used in monitoring centers and the incorporation of Artificial Intelligence in security emergency management were the topics proposed by the Tucumán representatives in the Smart City.

The Tucuman delegation was headed by Marcelo Moreno, one of the officials of that portfolio who supervises the program developed by the Ministry of the Interior. “We are committed to technological innovation for the planning of what we call safe smart cities,” he specified.

The Ministry announced that they are planning a similar event that will convene Latin American states to speak on technology and security.
