MADRID, (Portaltic/EP) – Instagram has doubled the number of photos or videos that users can share in a feed carousel, going from the 10 files currently allowed to 20, a capacity that has already begun to be implemented globally.
The carousel format was first implemented in 2017 and, since then, the company has been adding alternatives to edit it – such as the ability to delete just one of the photos that make it up, without having to delete the entire post – or the option to add music.
To publish a carousel, you must access your user profile and choose the ‘Multiple selection’ option after choosing the source from which you want to incorporate the photos and videos.
While the previous limit was 10 of them, the application now incorporated a notification indicating that its capacity has been expanded to 20, as some users have been able to test and Engadget reports.
It is currently unknown when the feature will be available globally, in which regions it will be available, and whether it will be aimed at users of devices running iOS and Android operating systems.
