NEW DELHI – An Indian fortune teller went viral for predicting that World War III would soon occur this month.

Kushal Kumar, an astrologer from Panchkula in Haryana, wrote in a Medium post, on May 23, that, “Tuesday, June 18, 2024 has the strongest planetary stimulus to trigger World War III (WW3) although June 10 and 29 may also be decisive .”

He reportedly based these predictions on Vedic astrology. Of the three days he predicted would be the start of World War III, two days passed normally, namely June 10 and June 18.

Despite his failed prediction, Kushal Kumar recently published another Medium post mentioning a “predictive warning” that is somehow related to the start of World War 3. He added that June 29th might also be the day of the apocalypse.

Published on June 13, the astrologer said, “Terrorist attack on pilgrims in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi that killed nine people.”

He then mentioned the escalation of conflict between North Korea and South Korea and more.

He also pointed to rising tensions between China and Taiwan. At the end of his post on Medium, he wrote, “It can be observed here that predictive warnings for better care and appropriate strategies require careful and serious interpretation of planetary impacts, while inadvertent human error cannot be completely ruled out.”

Kaushal Kumar’s Medium profile says, “I usually write predictions about a country.”

He has 71 followers. Last month, many publications dubbed Kushal Kumar the “New Nostradamus”, after the French astrologer Nostradamus, who is best known for writing a book of “prophecies” called Les Propheties.

Astrologers making doomsday or World War 3 predictions are nothing new.
