He said that every year about 1.7 million Bangladeshis apply for Indian visa. This number is increasing day by day. It shows the good relationship between the two countries. Bilateral relations between Bangladesh and India have reached unique heights in the last few decades. Both countries will work shoulder to shoulder to take it further.
Pointing out that the golden chapter of the relationship between the two countries is going on under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the minister said that the two countries are working together on important issues including trade expansion, counter-terrorism, increasing public communication, power and energy, peace and security. This joint effort will continue for the prosperity and development of the people of the two countries.
