At the suggestion of Antal Rogán, the minister in charge of the Prime Minister’s Cabinet Office, the President of the Republic Tamás Sulyok terminated the professional service of National Security Brigadier General Zsolt Májer with effect from September 1, 2024.
The decision was published in the Hungarian Gazette on Thursday evening. Former President Katalin Novák promoted Zsolt Májer to National Security Brigadier General in August 2022 at the suggestion of Antal Rogán.
Also at the end of August, at the suggestion of Antal Rogán, President Tamás Sulyok promoted National Security Brigadier General Anna Hatala, National Security Brigadier General Csaba Kiss, and National Security Brigadier Oláh Krisztián to the rank of National Security Major General.
