A video was posted on Dániel Karsai’s TikTok page over the weekend, which showed that his condition had deteriorated.
Péter Karsai referred back to these videos and explained what exactly happened. “The condition of my brother, Dániel Karsai, began to rapidly deteriorate in recent weeks. He has not completely lost his ability to speak, but unfortunately even dictating texts is too tiring for him. He therefore asked me to report on the current news and events in the posts written together with our friend Róbert László, in consultation with Dani, of course.”
He then reported on what was behind the videos.
On March 28, on the occasion of his birthday, we wanted to surprise him with a performance in an apartment theater, but instead he had to go to the hospital on this very day because he got pneumonia.
According to Péter Karsai, “he recovered from pneumonia thanks to Korányi’s professional care, excellent patient care, and not to mention Dani’s black belt willpower”, although he added,
for days, in the state of total silence and inability to communicate, we could only cling to hope.
“Since Thursday of last week, Dani has been resting at home again, reading a lot, communicating with visitors, if not as much as just a few weeks ago. And with a huge smile, he notes that Fulham beat West Ham United 2-0 in the London derby,” wrote Péter Karsai.
