We previously reported that the prime minister wished good morning from Washington. Viktor Orbán is participating in a multi-day visit overseas, as part of which he will also have a meeting with former President Donald Trump on Friday.

On Thursday, the talk organized by the Heritage Foundation was the main event, but it was held behind closed doors, so little is known about exactly what was said. Bertalan Havasi stated that

Kevin Roberts, the president of Heritage, talked to Viktor Orbán, and the audience included the most famous American right-wing politicians, analysts, and public figures.

The program was hosted by American conservative politician, commentator and former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy. It was said that the world needs a movement that fights for truth, traditions, families, and people. In the closed panel discussion, Viktor Orbán was asked about the successes and challenges of Hungarian conservative family and economic policy, the war in Ukraine, American-Hungarian relations, President Trump and his personal political creed, Havasi wrote. Several photos were taken of the event.

He also added that after the program, the Prime Minister held a meeting at the Hungarian Embassy in Washington with Steve Bannon, an American political strategist and adviser to former President Donald Trump. A photo was also taken of this, which was also shared by State Secretary Zoltán Kovács on X.

Viktor Orbán published pictures of the conversation on his Facebook page. In his post reporting on the event, he wrote that he is “among friends in America as well.”
