Economx has now reported on the basis of the local portal kalohirek.hu that the Kalocsa Architectural, Value Protection and Urbanism Society (K.arc) as a civil professional association initiated the name of the bridge with János Lázár last October. The minister has since approved their proposal,
thus, the KALOCSA-PAKS DANUBE BRIDGE will be named after the former archbishop of Kalocsa, Pál Tomori.
Pál Tomori led the Hungarian army in the Battle of Mohács in 1526 and fell against the Ottomans.
