Index – Economy – Gasoline prices will decrease from Wednesday

Gasoline prices moved in the opposite direction last week and reached long-unseen levels on Friday.

According to holtankoljak.hu, the wholesale price of gasoline will decrease somewhat on Wednesday:

As written, the purchase price of diesel does not change. With the change, you can expect the following average prices at the Hungarian wells from Wednesday:

• 95 gasoline: HUF 619/liter,
• diesel: HUF 641/liter.

Smaller corrections are expected only this week

In its price change forecast for the whole week, published on Sunday, holtankoljak.hu wrote that in the previous week “the price of Brent oil was almost stable, as the price per barrel fluctuated between 81 and 83 dollars. The rate is currently $82.05”.

Regarding the exchange rate of the forint against the dollar, we did not experience huge fluctuations during the week either, from Monday’s level of 363 forints, we have now recovered to 360 forints. Thus, we may experience minor corrections in fuel prices in the coming week
