The important jobs in positions of trust that are subject to national security checks have been defined.

Regarding the Prime Minister’s Office, the jobs that are subject to national security control have been defined. The decree to this effect was published in Thursday’s edition of the Magyar Közlöny.

The new regulations apply to ministry employees in important positions of trust. Among other things, it affects all the jobs of the Deputy Prime Minister and the Cabinet of Ministers, the heads of departments, political advisors, the submitters of tender applications, but also the positions of file and document managers.

Job positions such as business manager, internal auditor, security manager, system security supervisor or data protection officer are also mentioned in the employing organizations.

The decree enters into force on the 15th day after its announcement, with which Decree No. 2/2009 on important and confidential jobs loses its effect. (VII. 10.) social policy ministerial (TM) decree, as well as 18/2022. (XI. 9.) Also a decision signed by the Minister in charge of the Prime Minister’s Office (MVM).

The decision to this effect was signed by the Minister in charge of the Prime Minister’s Office, Gergely Gulyás, in agreement with the Minister in charge of the Prime Minister’s Cabinet Office, Antal Rogán.
