Index – Abroad – New information has been revealed about the suspects of the terrorist attack in Moscow

A Moscow court ordered the pretrial detention of four Tajik citizens accused of carrying out the terrorist attack on Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk until dawn on Monday.

The pretrial detention of Dalerzson Mirzoyev, Saidakrami Rachabalizod, Samsidin Fariduni and Muhammadzobir Faizov was ordered by the Basmanny District Court until May 22, but this can be extended until their trial begins. The charge is committing a terrorist act causing death as a member of an organized group, for which life imprisonment can be imposed. Mirzoyev, Rachabalizod and Fariduni admitted their guilt.

According to Ria Novosztyi, Dalerzson Mirzoyev was the first to be brought into the room, who turned out to be a 32-year-old father of four born in Tajikistan. The man admitted his guilt. The second defendant, Szaidakrami Racsabalizod, who said he was born in 1994, also has four minor children. Samsidin Fariduni, the third defendant in the case, was born in Tajikistan in 1998, works in a parquet factory in Podolsk, and has a registered address in Krasnogorsk. He is the father of an eight-month-old child. The last defendant, Muhammadzobir Faizov, was brought to court in a wheelchair and in a hospital gown, he was also accompanied by a doctor. He said he was born in Tajikistan in 2004 and has a secondary education.

According to the Russian media, of the four defendants, only one communicated in Russian, and the other attackers were assisted by an interpreter.

Tajikistan fights together with Russia

After what happened, Tajik Prime Minister Kokir Rasulzoda was the first to place a message in the condolence book at the Russian Embassy in Dushanbe, in which he declared that Tajikistan opposes international terrorism and intends to fight it together with Russia.

And in the meantime, news appeared in the Russian press that Moscow is closely cooperating with the Tajik special services regarding citizens who are accused of having committed a terrorist attack. “We get help, we feel supported,” Ria Novosztyi quotes one of her sources.

Earlier, Index also reported that the Russian investigative agency published a recording of the perpetrators of the terrorist attack in Moscow. As we reported, there was a shooting in the Crocus City Hall shopping center in Moscow on Friday evening, March 22. According to preliminary reports, the incident has at least 137 victims, including at least three children, and 145 wounded.

The Islamic State later claimed responsibility for the attack, in which five militants may have participated. The manhunt began immediately.

On Saturday morning, the four terrorists suspected of the Moscow shooting were arrested in the Bryansk region, near the Ukrainian border. The identity of the perpetrators was also made public.
