The traditional Media Salon Soccer Tournament in Valledupar began this Friday, September 12 on the La Popa Park, with the support of the municipal government of Mayor Ernesto Orozco Durán through INDER Valledupar, led by Alinson González Escorcia.
In this edition, the championship will be played under the format of all against all. The four teams that obtain the most points will advance to the semifinal, where the finalists will define the new champion on December 5, 2025. The title is currently held by Portal Link, champion in 2024.
«For us in Inder Valledupar it is a source of pride to support this tournament that already completes 32 years promoting the integration of journalists through sport. With the support of Mayor Ernesto Orozco Durán we guarantee uniforms, sports space and awards, because we understand that salon football is also a scenario of recreation and fellowship that strengthens our journalistic community, ”said Alinson González Escorcia, director of the Institute.
The sports contest brings together eight teams, of which five directly represent the media: Link Portal, Stéreo Maravilla, Fifth Power, First Line and Pyloner. As guests will be the sponsor Inder Valledupar, the Government of Cesar and influencer.
The organizer of the championship, Yolis Díaz Arrieta, highlighted the importance of institutional support received: “It is good to give Inder Valledupar, because it is not only about logistics and uniforms, but also value communicators and recognize in this tournament a space of friendship, integration and healthy life.
