Shamil Lakhiyalov, a former player of the Azerbaijan national team and “Anji”, shared his thoughts on the incident caused by “Krasnodar” midfielder Eduard Spertsyan in the game against “Akhmat” in the 11th round of the Russian Premier League.
Publika.az reports that in the 85th minute of the match, “Akhmat” midfielder Ibrahim Ndon received a red card for hitting Spertsyan in the face. According to the Senegalese football player, the captain of “Krasnodar” told him “Shut up, you black dog”. Later, Spertsyan released a video and said that he grew up in the Caucasus and would never allow such behavior.
Lakhiyalov responded to these words of the Armenian football player:
“This is, of course, an incident that does not befit the Russian championship. Now I will not comment on whether Spertsyan said those words or not, because it is very difficult to prove it. I will only comment on the actions on the field: what happened, what I saw and I think everyone saw.
Spertsyan himself irritated the “Akhmat” football player, walked towards him and, after receiving a small push, lay down on the ground. If Spertsyan himself says that he grew up in the Caucasus, then he should tell me that in some country in the Caucasus, he was taught how to disfigure even after a slight push.”
