In Meshuabazaar of the city, one half of local chicken egg half is being sold for 90 taka. Chicken eggs are being sold at 75 taka and broiler chicken eggs at 45 taka.
Nitai Pal, the egg seller of that market, said that there are no domestic chicken eggs in the market. Yesterday I brought 150 eggs from Kishoreganj.
Vidyutpal, a seller of the same market, said that the supply of pulses in the market is low. In the last two weeks, the prices of all types of pulses have increased by Tk 10-20.

Zainal Mia, a meat seller in the same market, said that he recently sold beef from Tk 650 to Tk 680. Beef price has again increased to Rs 750 in the last two weeks. Beef is being sold for 1500 rupees.
Sofikul, a rickshaw driver on the banks of the Brahmaputra river, said that the children are serious about eating beef. So, I came to the market to buy meat. What I earned the whole day was not even the price of a kg of beef. So, bought half a kg.
Shafiqul Islam, the fish seller of that market, said that due to the low supply of fish in the market, the price of local fish has increased by Tk 10-15.
