The company’s share price has increased by 18.14 percent over the past week. The price of each share has increased by Rs 7 80 paise. The share price of the company increased by 95 crore 46 lakh 68 thousand 949 taka in a week. At the end of the last working day of the week, the share price of the company stood at 50 80 paise, which was 43 at the end of the last working day of the previous week.
In addition to such a rise in the share price, the company’s shares have been traded in large numbers in the past week. On an average, the company’s shares were traded at Tk 23 crore 46 lakh 60 thousand per working day, which is equal to 4.91 percent of the total transactions of DSE.
The company’s shares started trading in the stock market from March 6 this year. In the initial public offering (IPO), ordinary investors received only 86 shares of the company.
The paid up capital of the company is Tk 122 crore 39 lakh. And the number of shares is 12 crore 23 lakh 93 thousand 455. Of this, 40.71 percent shares are held by entrepreneurs and managers. Of the remaining shares, general investors hold 43.51 percent and institutional investors hold 15.78 percent.
After Asiatic Laboratories, Deshbandhu Polymers was on the price hike list last week. The share price of this company increased by 17.91 percent during the week. SEML Lecture Equity Management Fund was next with a 17.57 percent gain.
Besides, in the list of top 10 companies with price increase last week – Golden Jubilee Mutual Fund 15 percent, Paramount Textile 14.34 percent, Selvo Chemical 14.07 percent, Fu-Wang Food 13.95 percent, Prime Finance First Mutual Fund 13.37 Percent, the prices of Lavello ice cream increased by 12.25 percent and BD Thai aluminum by 11.67 percent.
