Voting in Pakistan’s general election ended on February 8. After three days, the results of all the constituencies have not been declared yet. The preliminary results show that independent candidates supporting Imran Khan have won the most seats. But that is not enough to form a government.
Moreover, independent candidates supported by PTI will also lose the chance to get reserved seats or become an opposition party in Parliament without coming under the banner of any party. In this situation, these pro-Imran candidates have practically no other way except to join any other registered political party. Realizing that, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has reached an agreement with a party called Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM). The party’s spokesperson Rauf Hasan confirmed this information.

Alleging that at least 60 seats have been taken away from PTI, Rauf Hasan said, PTI will go to the election tribunal and even court if necessary.
