Throughout his work in many different positions, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong always had special affection, maintained a simple lifestyle and had close contact with the masses.
A veteran sat chatting with his arm around the door sill, an old man from an ethnic group held hands while dancing in a folk dance in a Central Highlands village, a little girl happily held in the arms of the silver-haired General Secretary… Everyone was comfortable and sociable because of the simplicity of the highest leader.
