illegalities that grow in Cuba

AREQUIPA, Peru – For the authorities of the Castro regime, speech continues to be one of their main weapons when addressing the problems that affect the Island. This Monday, the Cuban Prime Minister, Manuel Marrero Cruz, urged to fight against crime, whose increase the country’s authorities have had to recognize.

A report from the official media Cubadebate includes the statements of the senior official in the most recent meeting of the working group that addresses crime, corruption, illegalities and social indiscipline at the national level.

At the meeting, Marerro Cruz said that there was a state confrontation against the aforementioned irregularities and at the same time admitted that “dissatisfaction persists because the impacts are not always appreciated.”

Without offering further details, the prime minister pointed out that “there are indicators that go down a little compared to the previous month,” while he was forced to acknowledge that “there are others that grow and persist, such as theft in warehouses and crime against livestock.” ”.

Likewise, with the euphemism “extraordinary events” in reference to thefts, at the meeting it emerged that these acts in the port-transport-internal economy operation decreased in 2023, but the economic impact derived from them grew.

In this regard, Marrero Cruz indicated that in the midst of the existing crisis on the Island, most of the events are related to one of the main problems that affects the population: food such as rice, flour and oil.

Faced with the situation, the head of Government resorted to the rhetoric of the regime’s official speech, launching questions that have already been stated in all their possible forms during the last decades and demonstrate the ineptitude of the Island’s authorities.

“How is this understood? How can we explain this if we know that these are the most complex products? What additional measures have we taken to reinforce the custody and protection of these scarce foods, which cost us so much? ”He asked those present.

“Until we close ranks from the factories, the warehouse, from the demands of the leaders at all levels, until we eliminate the softness in the face of things that happen and deep analyzes are carried out, the causes are not investigated. and conditions, those doors that are the ones that allow all these unpleasant things to happen to the population will not be closed,” added the prime minister.

However, confronting these irregularities could only be viable when it starts from the discourse from high government levels.

A recent report from the state channel Teleturquino reflected the complaints of ranchers from Palma Soriano who, after suffering the theft of their animals and filing complaints with the Police, are accused of being liars by the officers.
