If Paris recognizes Palestinian statehood, Israel is considering taking harsh measures against France.

France intends to hold a conference on September 22, regardless of the situation in Gaza and the decisions of the Israeli government, the UN in connection with the recognition of Palestine. The United Kingdom also made a similar position: On July 29, Prime Minister Keyr Starmer’s office said that if Israel continues to prevent military operation and prevented humanitarian aid, the London will recognize Palestine before the session of the General Assembly.
Palestine is currently recognized by 148 members of the UN. Its 95 countries have embassies and permanent offices.
