If there is any problem with the detailed regional plan (DAP) prepared by RAJUK, it will be solved on the basis of discussion with everyone, said RAJUK chairman Md. Anishur Rahman Mia.
He said this while speaking as the chief guest of Iftar Mahfil organized by Rehab, an organization of housing traders on Saturday (March 23).
Rehab President Md presided over the Iftar and Doa Mahfil. Wahiduzzaman. Around 1,000 people including Rehab Senior Vice President Liaquat Ali Bhuiyan, other Vice Presidents, leaders of various trade organizations, current and former leaders of Rehab, Directors of Rehab Board of Directors and representatives of Rehab member organizations participated in the event.
The chairman of Capital Development Authority (RAJUK) said that because of rehab, there are still environmentally friendly buildings. If the rehab new committee takes more initiatives, there will be risk-free buildings in this city. All kinds of cooperation will be provided for this. I want to work together with Rehab in the future to build a safe city.
He said, DAB has been corrected. If there is a reasonable demand, it can be amended again if necessary on the advice of the Prime Minister. There will be overall cooperation in all matters by giving importance to the demands or needs of the people.
Rehab president Wahiduzzaman highlighted the various problems and possibilities of the housing sector during the prayer and iftar ceremony. He said, our housing sector is making a huge contribution to the country’s economy silently. About 5 million citizens are employed in this industry. At the end of the day everyone wants a peaceful abode. We are doing the work of creating that peaceful abode.
Stating that there have been many problems in this industry in the last decade, Rehab President said that some problems have been created globally. Especially the increase in the price of construction materials. Again some problems have arisen due to our lack of policy support.
He said that the housing industry crisis is under pressure due to various reasons including reduction in new DAP fees, increase in registration cost and increase in home loan interest rate. We want to remove the crises with common members. For this we seek the cooperation of our regulatory authorities and government.
Prayers are offered before the Iftar for the prosperity of the country and the nation.
