In the past few days, Moroccan director Idriss Al-Marini has begun filming scenes for a new television movie, produced by the National Radio and Television Company, and is expected to be shown on Channel One during the upcoming television season.
Al-Marini’s new film is titled “The Mistake of My Life”, and the young writer Younes Al-Zaim supervised the writing of its script. It is a social tragedy, the scenes of which are currently being filmed in Rabat and its surroundings, and comes in a format that combines crime, love and revenge.
According to the information available to Hespress, the story of this work revolves around a police inspector who suspected his wife of cheating on him, so he killed her. The events then unfold inside the prison and in the courtrooms with his defense. It also sheds light on the situation of prisoners who suffer from depression and difficult psychological conditions inside the cells of prison institutions.
The film “My Life’s Mistake” carries within it a set of purposeful messages and social values, most notably the importance of follow-up and psychological treatment for prisoners serving long sentences, the humanitarian aspect of community work, and the effort made by a group of administrative and community activities to reintegrate prisoners into society.
