Icbf’s My Family Program served 1,500 homes in Cesar

For three months, the Mi Familia program led by the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare, Icbf, and operated by the Creating Future Foundation Association, Asocref, reached eight municipalities of Cesar, impacting 1,500 families who received the benefits of an initiative that seeks to strengthen family nuclei in their area of ​​influence.

‘My Family’ is aimed at families with girls, boys and/or adolescents who are or have had an Administrative Process for Restoration of Rights. Likewise, the program focuses on families at high risk of rights violations and with disabilities.

In Cesar the program closed this December 15, reaching the municipalities of Valledupar, Manaure, La Paz, Agustín Codazzi, Curumaní, La Gloria and Pelaya.

Eight home visits were made to each family and four community meetings, which allowed the strengthening of the individual and collective capacities of the families served.
