İbrahimşehir Traditional Aba Wrestling with Strings started hosted by Şehitkamil

İbrahimşehir Traditional Aba Wrestling, which was held for the 20th time this year, started with enthusiasm, hosted and sponsored by Şehitkamil Municipality. This organization, which is of great importance for the survival and promotion of traditional sports, was met with intense interest.

Before the organization, extensive work was carried out by Şehitkamil Municipality at the İbrahimşehir Aba Wrestling Field in the İbrahimşehir District. The wrestling field was brought into line with modern and high standards by planting grass and re-leveling an area of ​​655 square meters. Thanks to the new automatic irrigation system, the lawn area was always kept in top condition. In addition, the iron wires on the site were repaired, rearranged and painted, and the damaged keystones, concrete and curb works were meticulously repaired. In this way, the field was made both safer and more aesthetically attractive. Benches with roofs and benches with tables were repaired and repainted, thus creating comfortable rest areas for wrestlers and spectators. The event area was completely prepared with extensive environmental cleaning carried out before the organization.
