Earlier, intern and post graduate trainee doctors jointly made 4 point demands. The demands are that the salary of intern doctors should be increased to 30,000 taka and the salary of postgraduate private trainee doctors should be increased to 50,000 taka. Post Graduate Trainee Physicians (FCPS, Resident and Non-Resident) to be paid dues. The non-resident and resident allowance of 12 private institutes should be revoked and the allowance should be reinstated. A doctor’s protection law should be enacted immediately.
